Get to know the Tulelake FFA Chapter Officers.
2016-2017
Mary Scanlan
President
Mary has been an FFA member for 4 years serving as an officer for 3 of them. Now in her senior year she has been given the chance to fill the position of President for the first time and is ready to bring her great communication skills and experience to this year's officer team. In 2014 Mary was on the state champion Vegetables Crop Judging team and up until last year she was an important member of the Agricultural Mechanics team.
Will Schumacher
Vice President
This is Will's first time serving as a chapter officer and is excited to be this year's vice president. Will has been a part of the Ag mech team for three years and plans to continue to bring his strong electrical skills to the team.
Gabi Gonzalez
Secretary
Gabi is a junior serving her third year in FFA and second year as a chapter officer as secretary. She has previously filled the position of chapter sentinel and is excited to bring her positive attitude and dedication to the secretary office. Not only is Gabi on the 2016-17 officer team, but she will also be a part of the Vegetable Crop and Ag Pest teams.
Sid Walker
Treasurer
Sid will be spending his first year as a chapter officer serving in the treasurer's position. A senior this year, Sid has spent four years in FFA. During that time he has participated on the Ag Mechanics and Small Engines team. Sid's skills that he plans to bring to the treasurer position include: his ability to achieve his goals through hard work and his great work ethic.
Abby Scanlan
Reporter
Abby is a sophmore this year, taking over the role of chapter reporter. This is her first time as a chapter officer and second year in FFA. She wants to participate on the Vegetable Crop team for a second time and she hopes to increase participation within the chapter. Abby is excited to serve as Tulelake FFA's chapter reporter this year.
Teagan Walker
Sentinel
At an astonishing 6'2, you'll never miss this sentinel stationed by the door. In his second year being an official FFA member, Teagan Walker, now a sophmore, is ready to serve his first year as officer, filling the position of sentinel. This year Teagan plans on being apart of the Ag Mech team and the new forestry team. Some of Teagan's best attributes include his communication skills and his determination.
