Get to know the Tulelake FFA Chapter Officers.
2015-2016
D'Anna Massey
President
With three years as a chapter officer and two of them as president, D'Anna knows what it takes to run the Tulelake chapter with efficiency and style. Now in her senior year, she also knows how to achieve success: in March, she became the Intermountain Vice President of the Superior Region, and in May, she placed 3rd in Vegetable Crop Judging and was on the State Champion Team.
Alejandra Gonzalez
Vice President
Alejandra is in her second year as a chapter officer, serving as vice president once again. Alejandra, a senior, is a natural leader, able to communicate with others and make them feel a part of something bigger. Her successes include two state championships: Vegetable Crop 2014 and Agronomy 2015.
Chessa Orr
Vice President
This is Chessa's fourth year of FFA membership and her first as a chapter officer. She is excited to be serving the chapter that helped her to many great successes. Namely, being on the state championship teams of Ag Pest Control in 2013 and Agronomy in 2015. She was also 1st high individual in the state for Agronomy. She plans on spending her senior year helping the chapter grow and thrive.
Tanner Weaver
Vice President/Secretary
Tanner is now in his second year of service as a chapter officer. He's always had a knack for leadership and is grateful for the opportunity to help lead Tulelake FFA. In his senior year now, Tanner has three state championships under his belt: Ag Pest in 2013, Vegetable Crop in 2014, and Agronomy in 2015. He is looking forward to a great year.
Mary Scanlan
Treasurer
Mary is a junior and serving as an officer for the second time. Mary is an avid FFA participant: she was on the Vegetable Crop State Champion team in 2014 and greatly improved her Ag Mechanics skills on that team this year. As anyone who knows her will tell you, Mary will never fail to make you laugh. As this year's treasurer, she is sure to bring the chapter success.
Kaitlin Hartung
Reporter
Kaitlin is a senior and a first time officer. This is her third year in FFA. She was on the state champion Vegetable Crop team in 2014 and the state champion Agronomy team in 2015. She plans to use her skills with media and writing to spread the word about Tulelake FFA throughout the next year and couldn't be more excited to serve as chapter reporter.
Gabriela Gonzalez
Sentinel
Gabi is a sophomore. But just because she is the youngest officer, don't expect to find her not working her hardest to make Tulelake FFA better than ever. Whether it is on the Vegetable team or the officer team, Gabi will put forth her best effort and plans to help the chapter grow.
Melissa Martinez
Historian
Melissa is a senior and a returning chapter officer. Melissa has been a part of FFA since her freshman year. She was on the 2nd high team in the state for Ag Pests in 2014 and 2015, as well as the state champion Vegetable Crop team in 2015. Melissa is looking forward to another year of service and great FFA success.
